SAIC is looking for an Installation Lead for the Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) Program. This is an exciting opportunity with the new Human Performance program for the Army.
This position is located in Ft. Polk, LA. This position is contingent upon award in the Spring of 2021.
Job Summary and Responsibilities:
The H2F Installation Lead will lead a multi-discipline team at their installation to provide qualified/certified Strength and Conditioning Coaches (SCCs) and Cognitive Performance Specialists (CPSs) to function as integrated members of a Brigade (BDE)-based team focused on optimizing Soldier readiness and performance within the Army’s new Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) System. SCC/CPS services may be provided in the following locations: fitness centers/gyms, BDE or administrative areas, outdoors, ranges, field training environments, and at the Soldier Performance Readiness Center (SPRC). Work includes providing forward musculoskeletal (MSK) care, early medical intervention, injury prevention (IP), and performance optimization services.
The H2F System is the Army’s primary investment in Soldier readiness and lethality, optimal physical and non-physical performance, reduced injury rates, improved rehabilitation after injury, and increased overall effectiveness of the Total Army. The system empowers and equips Soldiers to take charge of their health, fitness, and well-being in order to optimize individual performance, while preventing injury and disease.
As the Installation Lead, you will serve as the Point of Contact for the Task Order performance on the Installation, provide onsite supervisory functions to other Contractor personnel at the location, coordinate with the Strength and Conditioning Coach (SCC) Lead regarding Task Order performance on the installation, and participate in meetings at the installation. The installation lead will report directly to the H2F Program Manager.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of three (3) or more years of relevant experience managing, staffing, and overseeing similar Government projects.
- A Masters level degree in business, management, or operations from an accredited academic institution.
- US citizenship
- May be required to travel locally to various training areas to perform services.
Preferred/Desired:
- A project management professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Prior Military Leadership experience
- Experience briefing/collaborating with Brigage Level leaders
