Overview

SUMMARY - To identify the quality of finished fabric and remove any fabric that is unacceptable to our customers.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Inspect Web

Roll fabric up on tube

Cut out defects

Evaluate appearance of fabric

Record course count of fabric

Cut test pieces

Weigh and records scrap

Fill out inspection sheet

Fill out other paper work

Cut submit pieces

Properly identify each piece

Carry tubes to machine

Doff rolls using doffing jack

Lift rolls onto flat

Reroll fabric to reevaluate

Record all information

Make tickets for rolls

Any other duties assigned by Manager

Qualifications
