Description

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will provide direct client support to Martignetti/United Liquors LLC customers who have not been assigned an outside sales representative. Disseminating information and service on special promotions, introducing new products, placing orders and answering billing related questions, help drive supplier initiatives in order to increase sales volume.

We require a self-motivated individual, experienced in sales techniques; well organized with detailed follow-up skills, experienced sales representative with a courteous telephone manner with the ability to promote and expand our products to existing customers and resolve customer issues as required.

Spanish speaking candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

This entry level role will provide the individual with core industry specific knowledge and skills for potential career progression.

This position is located in Taunton, MA.

Key Accountabilities:

• Selling and servicing a dedicated account base within a given region via outbound calling activities.
• Stay current on market trends
• Attend weekly/monthly sales meetings
• Maintain networking sources to identify new customers.
• Develop and maintain a current customer profile.
• Proactively call and communicate into target markets.
• Develop a strong knowledge base of all products, the markets we serve, and our overall business strategies.
• Provide feedback to Sales Management on competitive activity and success of marketing programs.
• Develop a solid understanding of the competition and their brands and programs.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills: courteous telephone manner.
• Well organized; detail oriented.
• Ability to maintain customer relationships.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Ability to work co-operatively with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to carry out assignments with little supervision
• Spanish speaking/bilingual candidates highly preferred

Education/Experience/Training:

• Four (4) Year College degree preferred.
• Candidate must possess valid Massachusetts driver's license and registration
• Available to work flexible hours as required to complete all necessary job functions. Proficient in Microsoft Office

Physical Demands and Environment:

• Work performed requires or no measurable physical exertion, may be required to lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds
• Work is performed in a normal office sitting with intermittent standing or sitting as determined by the incumbent
• Work requires moderate concentration to effectively execute varied tasks with some level of complexity
• Works in a normal office environment
• Minimal potential for injury in the performance of duties
