The Inside Sales position develops, maintains and interacts primarily utilizing phone, email and social media communication to new and existing customers to increase sales of products and services. This position will focus on customer acquisition through direct sales and Business Development Representative lead generation activity. This position involves cold calling new and existing clients, client business referrals and web leads. Provide prospective customers/clients with all services offered, and demo presentations as needed. Work with client to create solutions for their needs and consult through the sales process. Must be energetic, well-spoken, and eager to close sales and increase revenue.

We are looking for someone that resides in the Mountain Standard Time for this role to work remotely.

JOB DUTIES

  • Closing sales of assigned solutions through solution-based inside selling strategies.
  • Ensures prospect identification, planning, account qualification and needs analysis.
  • Responsible for making cold calls to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through to the sales pipeline.
  • Successfully drive team to consistently meet and exceed quota goals and performance objectives through developed scripts and messaging to articulate business value.
  • Ability to identify and capture best practices (targeting approaches, pitches, overcoming objections, techniques, etc.) and quickly disseminate to all team members.
  • Researching potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources.
  • Collaborate with marketing, support, product management and sales to facilitate new programs, campaigns and offerings.
  • Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, etc.
  • Conduct remote software presentations (demos) to prospective customers.
  • Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics.
  • Build pipelines with channel partners and team members to close sales.
  • Maintain and update database (Salesforce, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 2+ years in Sales or Customer Service.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Software and/or K12 industry experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers.
  • Be comfortable conducting sales simulations and role play training in one on one and group settings.
  • Persuasive and goal-oriented.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the K12 industry.
  • Knowledge of the sales process from initiation to close.
  • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team.
  • Previous experience in outbound call center, inside sales experience, or related sales experience preferred.
  • Challenger Sales Methodology preferred.
  • Capable of using Salesforce, to facilitate overall CRM activities and assess business performance.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience preferred.

Base Salary Range: $50K-55K
