<b>Job Description:</b><br><br> We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for a very important client.<br><br>The project is to migrate over 300 third party network connections from legacy data centers to new data centers in USA The network connections consist of VPN and MPLS based circuits.<br><br>The roles and responsibilities are:<br>Design engineer - attend meetings with internal and external customers, gather requirements to determine the best design to use, and review design with internal technical team for approval.<br><br>Implementation engineer - must have in-depth knowledge and understanding of Proxy, F5, routing, switching, VPN, BGP, NAT, ordering MPLS circuits, install and configure cisco hardware The qualified candidate will be expected to follow all internal processes, policies, documentation and peer review all configurations before implementation.<br><br><b>Requirement:</b><br><br>The qualified applicant must have in-depth knowledge of Cisco routing, switching, BGP, VPN, MPLS, IPSec, GRE Tunnel, NAT, Broadcom Proxy, F5 Load Balancer and Firewalls - Fortinet & Checkpoint He/She must be able to handle multiple migrations simultaneously and carry a heavy workload The person must be a self-starter and self-motivated to learn the intricate details of JPMC network and come up to speed rapidly.<br><br>Must be available to implement network changes after 8PM EST Mon - Friday, and sometimes on weekends.<br><br>Network Engineer -- Level Intermediate 7-8<br>-- Currently using <br><br>Additional Skills:<br>Communication skills - Excellent communication skills are required Must have the ability to break down technical information and communicate it in a clear and easy way so that non-technical people can understand.<br><br>Advanced understanding of LOB technology drivers and their impact on architecture design, performance and monitoring, best practices and Client policies<br>§ Advanced knowledge in the following key<br>areas:<br>§ Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations)<br>§ Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, program managements, network management)<br>§ Design (compliance, security)<br>§ Network Engineering (planning, provision)<br>§ Proficient in more than one specific infrastructure technology<br>§ Advanced understanding of best practices and Client policies<br><br>* Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, launch and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budget<br><br>* Ability to articulate to more experienced management a technical strategy in clear, concise, understandable terms<br><br>* Must be able to assemble technology solutions and effectively define and implement a working architecture<br><br>* Technical certifications as required<br>#PandoPandoLogic.
