Information Technology Intern - Summer 2022

Nature of Work

• Provide first-level support & direction to end userson a variety of issues, including the setup, repair, maintenance, & upgradeof hardware & software. Identifies, researches, & resolves technicalproblems.
• Provides network support services as directed. 
  
• Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  
• Perform Level 1 IT Help Desk support functions
  
• Respond to telephone calls, email, and personnel requests for technical support
  
• Document, track, & monitor the problem to ensure a timely resolution
  
• Provide end-user technical support for computers, applications, & infrastructure
  
• Complete the setup, testing, & deployment of new PCs, smart phones, & tablets for end users
  
• Perform user account systems administration duties
  
• Coordinate the setup & installation of hardware & software for new IT equipment
  
• Maintain a database of all IT related equipment
  
• Troubleshoot, recommend, &, as needed, resolve problems on company IT equipment
  
• Exercise initiative or, as directed, perform additional duties to meet the needs of the organization

Duration

• This internship would take place in the summer of 2022
  
• Recommended duration: 10-13 weeks
• Must have the ability to work 40 hours per week Monday-Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM for the summer

• Must be actively seeking a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security or a related program at a university or technical college
  
• Must be self-motivated and results-oriented
  
• Must have customer service and problem solving skills
