Overview
Primary responsibility is the management and collection of the Snap-on Industrial EC portfolio, performing in a manner that will achieve corporate, regional, and individual performance standards.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound customer service contact calls on accounts where payments have been missed and resolve service issues while controlling delinquency
- Escalate any important issues to the attention of the Industrial Senior Account Manager
- Resolve customer delinquency problems or vendor delivery issues so as to retain customers and achieve permanent corrective action. Make arrangement to obtain customer payments, process phone payments, etc.
- Answer field and customer questions concerning the credit program and account status
- Quote Payoffs, provide account status, facilitate resolution of Vendor issues, etc.
- Manage transition of post-graduation accounts to appropriate servicing Franchisees
- Ensure day to day activities and collection procedures adhere to corporate policy
- Counsel and advise Industrial sales & management team on credit sales, collections, and customer credit concerns
- Promote Snap-on Credit's EC program
- Educate Industrial field sales personnel on EC program features and benefits
- Educate other sales personnel about the benefits of the program
- Handle inbound customer, Account Manager, and Franchisee calls with questions about Industrial EC accounts
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
B.S. Degree in Business (or equivalent knowledge and experience) and/or demonstrated skills and knowledge in:
- Credit and collections
- Financial analysis
- Credit laws and regulations
- Reporting requirements
- Communications - verbal and written
- Computer applications
- Skip Tracing
- Negotiation
Effort: Normal working hours, limited travel
Working Environment: Normal office environment.
