The Indirect Tax Manager will be empowered ensure accurate tax compliance and reporting, audit defense, tax risk and tax planning to support our delivery of clean air and water to our customers.

What you will do:

Primary responsibilities include supporting the end-to-end indirect tax compliance process which includes U.S. sales/use, property tax, gross receipt returns and business licenses. The tax manager will ensure all the indirect tax filings are timely & accurate, defend these filings in front of external auditors, work with the commercial business to ensure all our customer's indirect tax inquiries are timely and accurately addressed, and manage the sales tax exemption review. Acquisition of business license.

What you need to succeed:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree, with emphasis in accounting or finance,
• 4 years additional experience in lieu of degree

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge, skills, & abilities often reflected with 8 years or more corporate tax and/or public accounting experience
• Knowledge, skills, & abilities often reflected with 5 years of recent sales tax and property tax experienceK
• Knowledge of sales tax computation software (Avalara, Vertex, TaxJar, or other softwares)
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role with or without a reasonable accommodation
