Overview

Permit Coordinator - Preferred experienced in HVAC Permitting or a similar Industry (Flooring, Windows, Construction)

Full Time Position

Schedule is 7:30 to 4:30, M-F

Responsibilities

Responsibilities: This role will be responsible for offering administrative support services to our permitting and customer service department. This individual must be able to multi-task and be able to work in a very fast paced environment.

  • Answer inbound phone calls and make outbound phone calls
  • Prepare permit paperwork in accordance with jurisdictional requirements.
  • Submit permit requests via online systems, fax, and/or in person.
  • Create and maintain Microsoft Excel files to track permit status.
  • Communicate directly with city officials to coordinate and schedule all necessary inspections.
  • Coordinate with the permit runner.
  • Close Permits.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Credentials:
  • 1-2 Year HVAC Permitting experience (Preferred experience in Mechanical Permitting)
  • Must be dependable and have a great attitude as well.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle heavy phone volume
  • Maintain confidentiality in all areas of responsibilities.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Process technical and professional competency, demonstrated by work that is timely, accurate, organized, and clearly articulated with attention to detail.
  • Basic proficiency with desktop computers and software applications.
  • Intermediate level skill using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
