The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and technical support to the Human Resources team, and other functional areas of the facility based in Elmore, OH. This position also provides administrative and technical support to the Training Department. This position updates and maintains a variety of confidential records related to human resource management.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Assist in recruiting and onboarding of new hires including processing new hire paperwork, I-9 processing, background checks, e-verify, contacting and scheduling candidates and new hires, scheduling medical screening, drug screening, and physical skills assessments. Facilitate the necessary HR paperwork and responsible for coordinating orientation process including scheduling, logistics and covering presentations
  • Recommend, assist in development, and maintain human resource databases, computer software systems, learning management system and manual filing systems
  • Coordinate medical leave process, tracking and follow-up with employees.
  • Assist in the development of Workday Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Develop On-The-Job (OJT) training documents and instructor led classroom training on a wide variety of topics
  • Prepare various scheduled and ad hoc reports of employee data contained in the LMS, HRIS and other applicable systems
  • Enter personnel transactions into Workday system
  • Keep employee records and files up to date and assures proper security of records and files
  • Posts job opening requisitions, tracks new employee performance process, maintain bidding spreadsheet
  • Prepare and distribute various reports as needed

REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3+ years' experience in HR or Training administrative or analytical roles strongly preferred
  • Previous experience as HR intern or administrative function preferred
  • Previous experience with Learning Management System software (Workday) is preferred
  • MS Office experience (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Access, Teams, etc.) is required
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work under deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills; must be flexible and able to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communications skills coupled with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively deal with people at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work under deadlines
  • Discretion, tact and integrity are recognized requirements of this position
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • SAP experience preferred
  • HRIS experience (Workday preferred)
  • Experience utilizing the ADDIE model of training development preferred
