As the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for AstraZeneca Frederick (AZ-FMC) operations, you will support the people strategy to the site's business objectives.

The HRBP will serve as a consultant and adviser to management, as well as an employee champion and a change agent for their clients. They will encourage and develop talent at all levels and foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, employee engagement and enterprise thinking.

As HRBP, you will build partnerships across the HR CoE functions to deliver value added services to the site and develop an understanding of business objectives, operating environments and best practices to proactively deliver business and people strategy.

Accountabilities

  • Support assigned business groups providing consultation and delivery of HR programs and services
  • Provide advice and consultation to management on HR issues, policies, and issues resolution.
  • Provide consultation on employee relation issues
  • Work with managers and employees in identifying and addressing performance related issues. Provide mentorship and support to managers on corrective action issues.
  • Partner with hiring managers in developing recruitment and sourcing strategies. Assist hiring managers in the candidate selection and offer process.
  • In collaboration with HR and business leadership assess organizational development needs, develop business group focused development agenda, and implement programs to address those needs and ensure individuals and the organization have the skills and knowledge needed for success.
  • Interpret policies and provide counsel and mentorship to managers and employees concerning work related issues.
  • Educate and support management in successful implementation of performance management policies and programs.
  • Support and manage HR projects.
  • Participates in the execution of development of overall objectives and long range goals for HR and the HR related goals of shared client groups. Member of the client Senior Leadership Team.
  • Serves several VPs's and or responsibility for entire physical site location

Requirements
Bachelors degree or 4 additional years of work experience in lieu of degree
Desired
  • 7+ years with Bachelors
  • 5+ years with Masters
