Job Description Summary

This role will support the business in a compliance capacity through analyzing and auditing current processes and compliance related programs within the Human Resources functions including Talent Acquisition, Payroll, HRIS, and Benefits.

Job Description

  • Responsible for external reporting associated w/ EEOC, Affirmative Action, OFCCP and Veterans 4212.
  • In coordination with our Legal team, review and update HR policies and procedures
  • Working with our Tax team, manage and routinely audit the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) program including communication with locations and employees to ensure maximum participation of on-time screenings of all new hires; partner with Tax team to ensure credits are being captured for application in Company tax filings.
  • Serve as the I-9 Administrator for the organization including regular audits of completed forms and expiring work authorizations, managing the Tentative Non-Confirmation process with local HR teams, updating HCM system (Workday) with any Section 3 Updates and new hire paper forms. Also responsible for E-Verify compliance
  • Maintain and administer an internal HR audit program to ensure compliance with mandatory postings, employee files, retention schedule compliance, etc.
  • Process mapping and improvements as needed
  • Case management via ServiceNow
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Workday, ServiceNow, and other HR systems as needed.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years' experience in Employee Relations/Compliance/Human Resources
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze data while highlighting trends
  • Deep understanding of FMLA, EEO laws, ADA and other employment-related laws & regulations
  • Required to be discreet and maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Workday or related HRIS Software Programs
