Home Equipment Tech Cert - Northeast Home Medical Equipment - Full Time

Northeast Home Medical Equipment (NEHME) has an opening for a Driver Tech for assembly, maintenance, delivery and education of home medical equipment working with a diverse group of patients and families. The position is full time, generally to assist with deliveries between 10 am to 6 pm, Tuesday through Saturday. During orientation the schedule will be weekdays 8:30 to 4:30 pm.

To be successful, the person must have experience:

  • Driving a commercial size vehicle (CDL not required)
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-tasking
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Previous home health care experience is a plus
  • Manual dexterity and technical ability is a plus.

Requirements:
  • NYS Drivers license (clean driving record); experience with customer service.
  • A safe driver record is required,
  • High school graduate or equivalent required

This is a fast paced position that requires the ability to lift and move medical equipment up to 60 lbs.
