We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Ecommerce Operations to join our Ecommerce Sales team. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Ecommerce Operations and will manage a diverse portfolio of cross-functional initiatives. This position will drive the strategy and execution to deliver a best-in-class Ecommerce Operational advisement and execution to support and improve the work of the ecommerce team in driving the business for all Ecommerce channels.
This position will work with internal and external partners to address issues and concerns and continually look for ways to improve the processes and systems. Internally, this role will engage with cross-functional partners including (but not limited to): Customer Service, Demand Planning, Logistics/Supply Chain, Sales Back Office, IT, Finance, and Analytics.
Essential Functions:
-Manage operational activities of all eCommerce sales channels to help promote sales growth (Amazon, Wayfair, eTail National Accounts etc.)
- Help streamline and optimize the overall sales process
- Develop and maintain sales forecast for all accounts in conjunction with Sales Account Managers
- Provide financial analysis of go to market launch strategies and promotional activities, promotional postmortem support
- Work with Demand Planning team to manage optimal customer inventory and WoC
- Act as a liaison between product, sales, supply chain, demand planning and finance
- Implement projects such as SIOC with Product team to alleviate chargebacks
- Understand sales trends and analysis to move inventory if needed and avoid backorders
- Analyze sales, inventory, and consumer trends to make strong recommendations to sales team
- Work very closely with sales and account management team to manage returns by account and make sure we are disputing returns that are unnecessary
- Work directly with customers to identify areas of operational opportunities and optimizations
- Continually look for process improvements in both sales and operations
- Actively monitor and dispute chargebacks where necessary along with identifying ways to prevent chargebacks
- Work closely with Sales Back office/PO compliance to track and monitor purchase order trends and adjust where needed
- Manage direct import, direct fulfillment, EDI projects and onboarding
