Position Information:

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct experimental and analytical research activities to support the scope of work of the research program supporting the position.

Requirements

  • Chemical engineering or chemistry background, and comfortable in laboratory research settings
  • “Safety first” mindset, and apply this at all times to their own working environment and to those around them
  • Strong background in laboratory environments, with meticulous attention to detail in experimentations and measurement
  • Be comfortable working around chemicals and pressurized gasesSuccessful completion of criminal history records check
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.Preferred Qualifications
  • Electrochemistry experience, either in battery-based applications or most preferably in electrolysis experiments
  • Knowledge/training of analytical methods of surface/liquid characterization
  • Able to work independently on major laboratory tasks with minimal supervision after training
