Facebook is seeking a Global Head of Community for our Global Digital Marketing Practice. We are looking for a high-performing, enthusiastic, solution-driven marketer to take our focus on building, managing, and moderating our community within the digital marketing practice to the next level. The ideal candidate will represent Facebook to tens of millions of business and advertisers, organizing events for communities, capturing and sharing feedback from the businesses building on the platform, responding to the community, driving consideration for our products, and programming against community and cultural events. Our digital marketing team powers some of the most innovative and scaled marketing in the industry, and the community is and will continue to be at the heart of everything we do. This role will lead the next generation of community focused activities for some of the most recognized brands in the world - Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Oculus and more. This individual will build a community practice that is revered in the industry, that spans across all digital touchpoints. Your work will help to support hundreds of millions of users - from local entrepreneurs that use Facebook & Instagram to support their businesses, to notable influencers/celebrities. This role is critical to our success and will build the engine which will fuel the creativity across all of our Digital Marketing. Success in this position requires expert Facebook & Instagram advertising, product and offerings knowledge, strong digital marketing knowledge, expertise with data, infrastructure and tooling. This individual will focus on building strong partnerships and has the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-focused environment that continuously challenges itself to deliver exceptional results.

<ul><li>Creating and driving the strategic vision of community marketing, insights, programming, and moderation</li><li>Creating feedback loops with the community on all aspects of our marketing, products and services</li><li>Hiring, growing, and leading a diverse team of community managers</li><li>Building processes and systems to help identify, support, and grow emerging Facebook first creators and businesses</li><li>Maintain the brand and protect the community during moments in culture that would warrant swift action, strong decision making, and excellent cross functional communication</li><li>Collaborating with analytics and social teams to on key KPI's to ensure community efforts are measurable and deliver for both Facebook and community members</li><li>Creating our global approach to establishing an "always on" engagement program including 1:1 messaging, community management, creator engagement, and event management</li><li>Developing global expansion plans that navigate language and cultural differences to ensure healthy communities worldwide</li></ul>

<ul><li>10+ years proven experience in digital marketing, community and cultural focused marketing and activations</li><li>Experience in market or region to provide a level of perspective and empathy from the community to global teams</li><li>Experience in community moderation tooling, software, and systems</li><li>Demonstrated experience with digital media platforms, advertising metrics, and industry trends</li><li>Experience providing attention to detail and interpersonal skills, with the experience interfacing with executives, leadership and stakeholders at all levels</li><li>Experience working across complex cross-functional teams, solutions oriented and can offer resolutions even in ambiguous situations</li></ul>
