Who are we looking for?

Our Harrisburg office is looking to fill a GIS Analyst position in our growing US Operations.

Working as a GIS Analyst, you will participate in Civil, Municipal, and Environmental Engineering projects on activities pertaining to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Data Management.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Work with GHD staff and external clients to deliver GIS solutions.
• Preparation and delivery of GIS figures and ArcGIS Online interfaces.
• Gather, compile, migrate and convert data sets for project needs from a variety of sources.
• Maintain updates for numerous GIS datasets.
• Read and use engineering CAD drawings and CAD files to capture features into GIS.
• Evaluate data to determine the quality and ensure data is clean and accurate.
• Champion GIS Solutions to support internal engineering projects and client platforms for both data collection and delivery.

What you will bring to the team:

• Self-motivated while working independently.
• Proficiency of ESRI GIS software ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
• Experience developing solutions with ESRI's Survey123, Field Maps, Dashboards, and Experience Builder.
• Linear Infrastructures - GIS for sanitary sewer, water distribution, storm water
• Ability to listen to clients and explain GIS-related concepts in easy-to-use terms.
• Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Geography, or other relevant subject with a minimum of 20 hours (or equivalent of a minor or emphasis in GIS) with 3-10 years relevant experience.
• Create 3D Scenes using various data formats including BIM/CAD
• Experience in data conversion, database management, and GIS digitization and analysis.
• An understanding of the definition, projection, and application of different coordinate systems.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, analytical and time management skills.
