We have open positions for entry level production for 1st Shift. These positions start at $16.75/hr.

We produce beef and chicken cooked steak products.

Job Description:

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Applicant must have the abilities to perform various assembly line duties that may include but not limited to processing, packing, labeling, stacking, standing for long periods of time, bending squatting, open bags/ boxes, remove frozen molds from mold pans, load slicer machine, perform setup and cleanup tasks, and use various hand tools. Applicant must be able and willing to lift, push, pull, and carry in many areas on the production floor (weight depends on area ranging from 2.5 - 50lbs).


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • Must have the ability to work in a cold/warm (-30 degree up to 115 degree) wet environment and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces.
  • Must be available for overtime and weekends.
  • Must be willing to be crossed-trained and move to other areas when needed.
  • Must be able to tolerate the smell and sight of raw materials.
  • Must follow GMP requirements that may include wearing hear net, beard net, white frock coat, cotton and latex gloves and all personal protective equipment.
  • Must be willing to work overtime and Weekends.
All candidates must successfully complete a health assessment and drug screening within 48 hours of receiving a job offer. Those who do not complete or refuse to take the assessment and/or screening will have their offer of employment rescinded.

Candidates who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times will not be considered. Minimum waiting period for rehires is 90 days.
