General Laborers are responsible for inspecting product to ensure quality. In this position, you'll feed cartons and boxes onto a conveyor belt, place finished product into cartons and case boxes, inspect cartons and product for general quality, and lift filled cases onto conveyor. General Labor is moved from line to line depending on daily production needs.

Current Shifts available are:

- AM Shift ( 12 hour shift, 6a-6p, 2-2-3 schedule)

- 3rd shift (10pm-6:15am)

- PM Shift (12 hour shift, 6pm-6am, 2-2-3 schedule)

Ways you will make a difference

• Operate electric or manual pallet jacks
• Pull pallets, configure pallets in accordance with appropriate patterns
• Document and track usage of hand jacks and follow battery charging cycle
• Report any issues to supervisor, including issues with conveyors, jacks, as well as quality issues
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in order to dump candy onto conveyor belts on occasion and exert up to 35 lbs. regularly
• Must be able to work quickly and efficiently
• At times, will perform duties of Machine Operator in their absence (including loading carton magazine, dumping collected pouches onto the conveyor, re-packing rejected cartons, and other responsibilities
• Shifts vary; must be able to work OT and weekends

Skills that will make you successful

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Good communication skills
• Ability to use a calculator and basic math skills
• Basic reading and writing skills
