SUMMARY

The Financial Systems Senior Analyst is a member of the Global Accounting Systems, Process, and Controls team who provides direct support for multiple financial applications within an assigned end-to-end process area.

The primary responsibility of this role is to own the resolution of user issues, platform configuration maintenance, and continuous improvement needs of the Coupa platform. This may require creating your own ad hoc solutions to solve problems by drawing on expert-level experience with MS Excel, Access, or automation tools such as RPA, VBA, and Alteryx.

A thorough understanding of and experience with the functionality and capabilities of Coupa's purchasing, contracts, and SIM modules is required. Additional experience developing UiPath RPA robots in preferred. A drive for achievement, attention to detail, and a strong customer service mindset are necessary for success in this role.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Quickly respond to and resolve user requests for assistance
  • Configure Coupa solutions and implement changes by working effectively with internal customers, IT teams, and Coupa Support partners
  • Design solutions that consider impacts to all upstream and downstream workflow processes
  • Proactively lead continuous usability improvement efforts
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration errors related to suppliers, purchase orders, receipts, OK2PAY, etc.
  • Solve platform issues using documentation libraries, the Coupa community, and past Coupa support tickets
  • Provide functional and technical expertise in the Source-to-Pay end-to-end process area, including key integration points between Coupa and ERP systems
  • Analyze and translate business, information, and technical requirements into solutions to achieve business objectives
  • Work with internal customers to understand and determine implementation solution architecture, taking into consideration integration needs and constraints
  • Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing for configuration changes
  • Identify improvement opportunities and create end-to-end process recommendations
  • Drive informed decisions with business partners by providing sound technical and operational accounting guidance
  • Ensure organization-wide understanding and implementation of financial systems and processes, directly assisting end-users as needed
  • Build organizational capability through continuous improvement activities; originate action to improve existing conditions and processes
  • Work collaboratively with others to achieve goals, simplify processes, reduce costs, prevent loss, and to ensure that work is completed accurately and on time
  • Demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence, including the ability to manage conflict effectively
  • Identify, track, report and present meaningful performance or progress metrics

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Functional experience in an Accounting, Accounts Payable, or Procurement role
  • 3 - 5 years "hands-on" technical experience implementing or supporting Coupa including cXML, Liquid PO, Approval Chains, Custom Objects, Localizations, etc.
  • Advanced user of MS Excel and MS Access, including macros

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • UiPath RPA development experience
  • International Coupa administration experience
  • ETL platform development experience
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience

  • Basic knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley and other control objectives
  • Detail oriented, organized critical thinker with strong analytical skills
  • Proficient ability to influence others regarding policies and procedures including the ability to explore alternatives to reach amicable outcomes accepted by all parties
  • Proficient ability to utilize standard desktop software such as Microsoft Office
