Responsibilities:

Under the oversight and direction of Financial Reporting management, the Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing the monthly, quarterly, and annual internal and external financial statements and other reports, and supporting the financial reporting process during month end close. Responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Preparing and validating financial statements and various management reports
  • Supporting the financial reporting process during month end and year end close
  • Preparing account reconciliations
  • Maintaining Hyperion maps, books, and reports
  • Preparing audited annual financial statements and related disclosures (GAAP, OCBOA, and Benefit plans).
  • Routinely monitoring and reporting on new issued and exposed FASB guidance
  • Identifying process inefficiencies, recommending efficient process alternatives, and facilitating implementation of such process improvements

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • CPA preferred. Will consider those pursuing CPA.
  • 3 or more years of progressive accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years of experience at a public accounting firm and at least 1 year of industry experience
  • Experienced in the preparation of annual audited financial statements and related disclosures based on U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Other Comprehensive Basis of Accounting (OCBOA)
  • Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and the application thereof.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft, Hyperion or similar ERP system preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
