About The Position

POND is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager (Engineer or Architect) to join our growing, award winning, Federal Design group. We are looking for a self-starting, driven individual who will augment our strong team dynamic and embrace our client-first culture. This person must demonstrate a natural desire to take the initiative, be a leader and must have an objective of exceeding our clients' expectations at every opportunity.

Successful project managers at Pond & Company share a team based operating philosophy and will be capable of directly, managing and coordinating multiple disciplines assigned to a project along with managing sub-consultants. The individual must possess a thorough understanding of the design requirements for federal facilities including DoD and non-DoD Federal agencies.

Qualifications

• Accredited Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Architecture
• 5 years of experience in an architecture, engineering, or construction organization. Federal client arena preferred.
• 1 Years of experience as a Project Manager.
• Professional Registration (PE or RA)
• Thorough knowledge of facilities design and construction, contract management, project delivery, and client relationships.
• Experience with Federal contracting and procurement process and procedures
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Project and/or other software programs applicable to job type.
• Occasional attendance at meetings and other off-site events requires the ability to provide reliable transportation and maintain a current, valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Position may require occasional travel. Employee must be able to travel freely on a passport or other official document.
• Employee must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) - Access to federal installations or other secure facilities may require security badges and employee must be able to obtain basic security clearances.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance
