Description

This position will assemble products, test, paint and evaluate other manufactured products according to specifications. This position also includes pipe fitting, welding and soldering.

Key Responsibilities
•Verifies information on production orders and prepare items for assembly
•Determines method of assembly by utilizing knowledge of assembly routings and
procedures
•Understanding of basic power tools
•Proper use of testing equipment
•Appropriate gaging knowledge
•Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
•SPC quality system awareness
•Compares identifying information, counts, weights, and verifies data against bills of materials
•Organizes and keeps work area clean
•High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
•Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications.
•Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
•Maintains equipment and conveyors and performs basic repairs when needed.
•Inventories tools, parts, and supplies; contacts materials handler if supplies are needed.
•Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any
identified problems and alerts supervisor.
•One to two years plumbing experience preferred.
•Performs other related duties as assigned.

Key Requirements
•Knowledge of soldering, experience preferred
•Knowledge of and training in ISO9001:2015 a plus
•Current forklift license preferred
•Good communication skills
•Detail-oriented and consistent.
•Works well as a productive member of a team.
•Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
•Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.

Physical Requirements
•Repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching.
•Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
•Consistently lift 5-10 pounds (occasional up to 50 lbs.)
•Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products or machines as directed.
•Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
•Physical and Mental stamina to stand, walk, lift, and adjust to the noise and lighting of the
manufacturing environment.
