Dura-Line is currently hiring for a night shift Extrusion Supervisorto join the team at our Evansville, WY site. We need an engaging leader tosupervise the daily operations of your crew in the areas of staffing management, quality control, production, and lead your team to SUCCESS!

In this exciting role, you will be a proven people leader, coach, and mentor while determining best practices and implementing lean procedures on your shift (12-hour Nights 7p-7a hours; 2-2-3 schedule). We need a hands-on, boots on the ground, engaging, and involved leader that is also a great listener and team player. You must lead by example to hit targets in safety, quality, service, cost, and production and when goals are missed, utilize root cause analysis to determine why's and areas of improvement.

You must be comfortable speaking in front of a group, effectively delivering information, and be able to make a tough decision when needed. Demonstrable supervisor/ leadership experience is required for this role to effectively make an impact.

As an Extrusion Supervisor, you will need 3-5 years of production experience in manufacturing environment with an emphasis on people management of direct reports and shop floor accountability; if you have a background in extrusion or plastics that is a huge PLUS! In this role you will be responsible for workforce scheduling, overtime management, and other labor deployment practices, thus this role requires excellent multitasking skills, project management skills, and organizing skills.

What else can help you succeed in this role?

You must be computer savvy with experience using programs such as Microsoft Office and ERP systems- SAP experience a plus. It will be a huge advantage if you have hands-on experience working in a LEAN manufacturing plant with rotational shift or participate/led lean initiatives and projects (5S, tier meetings, six sigma, continuous improvement, Gemba walk, standard work) along with OSHA/safety regulations.
