Responsibilities

The Executive Director CIN develops and recommends network strategy for value based opportunities with payors, reporting to SVP of Managed Care. This position is accountable for negotiating; developing and analyzing shared shaving programs and program positioning for the WellStar Clinical Partners across the enterprise.

This leader brings to the role excellent critical thinking skills as the administrative leader to identify risk and opportunity for contract reimbursement and programs. The Executive Director creates and oversees detailed working plan options including identification of outside resources to the CIN. This role also manages the facilitation and implementation of each of WCP's and the PHOs' Managed Care agreements for over 700 affiliated physicians.
In addition, the Executive Director partners with the leadership of WellStar Clinical Partners to develop, educate and create shared understanding and implementation of payor strategy. He/she identifies and communicates opportunities to maximize reimbursement and expand participation and eligibility for bonus program payments. This involves excellent working relationships with WellStar Medical Group, WellStar Clinical Partners, Population Health and members of Executive Leadership.

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education: A master's degree, from a recognized college in healthcare, business, finance, or related field preferred.

Required Minimum Experience: Eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience in Managed Care contract negotiations, Shared Savings or related activities. Five (5+) years of program leadership experience.

Required Minimum Skills: Ability to build relationships with outside vendors. Ability to build strong relationships with internal customers and departments. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to negotiate. Attention to detail and the ability to independently problem solve. Strong critical thinking skills.
