EverCommerce is looking for an HR Business Partner to help us grow and scale our business. This person will be part of the People Operations team (you might know us as HR) and be a champion of EverCommerce culture. Our customers are every EverCommerce employee, and our goal is to deliver a top-notch employee experience at every interaction. We have grown from 80 to 2,200 employees through acquisition in the past four years, and we're growing our People Ops team as we scale.

You will advise senior leaders and managers on a variety of employee relations issues, including guiding on policies, practices, how to address workplace issues, organizational development, performance management, coaching and development, and compensation. Where:

The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with more than 40 office locations in the U.S. and Canada. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States - if you're close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR support and consultation through email, phone, and in-person when applicable-answering employee and manager questions about HR programs, policies, and other HR-related items (Benefits, Compensation, Performance, etc), connecting people to the appropriate subject matter expert when necessary.
  • Align department and business goals with HR priorities using metric-driven consulting.
  • Act as a consultant to your subsidiary companies, helping them think strategically about growing and developing their teams.
  • Be a culture champion & enhance employee engagement.
  • Coach managers through performance review process, support in talent assessment, and implement any team changes.
  • Guide and oversee HR compliance, policy, and process.
  • Create an atmosphere of trust by protecting confidential information and navigating thorny situations with ease.
  • Ad-hoc projects-this is a many hats kind of role on a small team where everyone pitches in to do what's needed.

Skills & Requirements
  • 3-5 years in an HR capacity
  • Experience building relationships with senior business leaders
  • Validated knowledge of employment laws, regulations and personnel policies
  • Extraordinary professionalism, off the chart attention to detail, and ability to untangle complex problems
  • Experience working as a Business Partner and/or understanding how the business partner model works
  • Ability to multitask, execute while wearing many hats, and meet deadlines on a daily basis
  • Positive attitude approaching any task no matter how big/small
  • Flexibility, a fast-paced environment makes you feel energized, not stressed out
  • Great communicator-you're known for clear messaging in company emails and know how to proofread

Nice to Haves (but not required):
  • Bachelor's degree in HR is a plus
  • Workday experience
  • Experience developing OKRs
  • PHR/SHRM Certified
  • Experience supporting teams remotely
  • SaaS experience is a plus

Compensation: The target salary for this position is $65,000 to $80,000 per year. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
