We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an ERP Platform Owner to join the Technology Business Solutions team. The ideal candidate for this role has experience as an IT Director or Vice President of Applications, specifically in connection of Corporate Strategy to IT Strategy to Application Strategy and downstream execution.

This position is hybrid and can be based near any of our offices (Office Locator - CohnReznick).

YOUR TEAM.

This role resides in the Firm Accelerator, reporting directly to the COO, sharing a tactical role with IT Operations for ongoing solution maintenance.

This role serves in stewardship of the Firm's enterprise platform - "ERP" includes SAP S/4 HANA, applications integrated with the former, and Elevate HCM solution - and will partner with Firm leadership to develop and execute a roadmap ensuring platform alignment with Firm strategy. This role will lead the implementation, enhancements, and ongoing support of the platform, working closely with IT Operations. This role also includes vendor and SAP managed services (AMS) management.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Steady State Responsibilities

  • System Administration
    • Define, enhance, document business processes and how applications are used.
    • Assess long term improvement opportunities.
    • Prioritize features and enhancements.
    • Provide approval for effort estimates.
    • Partner with IT Security/CISO/GRC to ensure all components align with security and compliance.
    • Conduct release impact assessment.
    • Freeze release calendar.
    • Secure sign-off for release plan.
    • Act as single point of contact for collective Firm and AMS SAP Team.
  • Strategic Services
    • Perform oversight over all Firm ERP roles.
    • Manage portfolio of ERP-adjacent applications and their dispositions.
    • Coordinate evaluation of all ERP impacts stemming from alignment with strategic initiatives.
    • Own ERP feedback mechanisms.
    • Represent Firm leadership in all matters of ERP.
    • Own ERP budget.
      • Develop short and long-term budgets working with Office of CFO/iOffice.
    • Own Firm ERP roadmap.
      • Partner with key stakeholders, business leads for P&C, Finance, and Marketing.
      • Identify opportunities for applications to improve productivity and drive continuous feature adoption.
      • Align SAP with Firm strategic entities and initiatives - e.g., ePMO, iOffice, etc.
      • Develop long-term roadmaps for the ERP platform by understanding business needs with translation into and overlay onto product roadmaps.
    • Own the following as related to ERP:
      • Policies
      • Procedures
      • Processes
      • Vendor and AMS Relationships
      • Firm Headcount Staffing
      • Firm Contractor Staffing
    • Provide Portfolio Management services.
    • Provide Program Management services.
    • Provide Project Management services.

Project Ascend Responsibilities

In the immediate term, in the context of Project Ascend, this role will:
  • Lead IT Business Solutions - interfacing with Business Leads, the Project Management Team, Project Sponsors, and Key Stakeholders.
  • Lead the IT relationship with Deloitte and selected AMS provider.
  • Lead Project development, integration, resource hiring, defect resolution, User Acceptance Plan development, and Organizational Change Management Plan development.
  • Manage implementation of applications integrating with SAP - Twenty-Five, InfoSys, Profinda Audit Planner, and DataHub.

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The successful candidate will have:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer or business-related field (Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, etc.).
  • Ten plus years' experience working with SAP S/4Hana Public Cloud ecosystem and/or Finance as it relates to industry expertise, processes, and operations.
  • Expertise in SAP S/4Hana Public Cloud ecosystem and Finance applications.
  • IIBA Certification and/or PMP Certification a plus.
  • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office applications, including Visio; Proficient in Process Flow Analysis and Diagrams
  • Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall software development lifecycle methodologies
  • Familiar with Project Management methodology; as well as with Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, including ability to discuss technical topics with non-technical audiences.
  • Detail oriented, planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and actively as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Proven ability to create innovative solutions to solve complex business requirements, and streamline/automate business processes.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% to Firm office locations.
