Internship Assignment: Full Time - Summer 2023
Are you looking for an internship in environmental management with a 3-time Ohio Environmental Protection Agency 3E (Encouraging Environmental Excellence) Award winning company? Look no further - join us for a summer of learning from the best. In this internship you will:
  • Work under degreed professionals including geologists, engineers, environmental scientists, attorneys, our sustainability team, and more
  • Work on an exciting weekly rotation balanced between our plant and corporate teams
  • Help with compliance auditing in plants in our programs for clean air, spill control and prevention, stormwater, groundwater, chemical management, container labeling, waste management etc.
  • Assist in preparing all TimkenSteel's ISO14001 certified facilities for the 2023 renewal audits
  • Continue to mold our sustainability / Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) initiatives by working on projects related to greenhouse gas and energy reduction as well as water conservation and waste / recycling initiatives
  • Complete data reporting for both, compliance aspects and ESG

Internship Qualifications:
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Must have completed a minimum of 30 credit hours
  • Must be a full-time student (12 semester hours) attending an accredited four-year university
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to use audit template forms
