Minimum Qualifications:
- Must obtain an Entertainment Work Permit and Regular Work permit if under 18 years of age.
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
- Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
- Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.

Responsibilities

Minimum Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greets and interacts with guests at entertainment locations and in the park midway.
- Entertain guests by providing positive interactions with costumed character performers.
- Provides assistance, on a rotational basis, to characters during their walks through the park.
- Identify and prevent hazards to character performers and costumes.
- Provides assistance to character performers getting into and out of costumes.
- Meets and greets park guests.
- Takes pictures for guests, answers questions about the park and characters.
- Maintains familiarity with specific personalities and traits of the characters that are portrayed.
- Provides verbal interactions between characters and guests.
- Learn and perform escort related choreography for live shows.
- Maintain Integrity of the costume characters as well as live shows.
- Empties and disposes of trash and recyclable material while maintaining clean trash containers in assigned areas.
- Picks up trash throughout the park.
- Ensures guests follow rules and policies.
- Learns and complies with the safe and appropriate use of all chemicals necessary for the job
- Resolve guest concerns
- Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
- Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
- Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
- Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.
- Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
- Other duties may be assigned.
