Job Purpose:

• Support the definition, development, configuration, and implementation of process technology tools, workflows, business rules and standardized processes used during product development, data and documentation management, and information access and distribution across the enterprise.

• Help assure that users are trained and proficient in process technology tools that leverage Enterprise and Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) information, increase productivity or efficiency, improve quality or consistency of engineering product data information and documentation.

• Collaborate with Computer Aided Engineering Programs (CAEPS) customers (i.e. Engineering, Operations, Cost Management, Information Systems, etc.) to ensure that enterprise-wide systems and solutions such as Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) meet or exceed functional and technical requirements.

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:

1. Help evaluate ERP and PLM systems/functions, including new and emerging technologies, for business applicability. Participate on project teams in the implementation of new solutions and enhancements that support strategic and operational objectives, including parts standardization, change management, configuration management, data management, product lifecycle management, releases and information access.

2. Formulate PLM business rules and implement them in the appropriate systems. Perform testing and analysis to validate that data systems and processes support business requirements.

3. Maintain current processes and systems. Support user training and facilitate user compliance with requirements.

4. Resolve system and process issues.

5. Help to identify and support business process improvements. Provide technical ERP and PLM system and process support to other enterprise functions such as manufacturing, parts, publications, strategic sourcing, cost accounting, cost management, etc.

6. Act within the scope of all CAEP's customers long range plans, annual plans, business objectives and policies to accomplish goals.

7. Develop training materials for supported systems and processes. Provide a means to train users.

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

• Associates degree, preferably in Engineering or Computer Science

• Typically 3 to 4 years relevant work experience.

• Desire experience with the development of business processes related to data management, access, or distribution systems.

• Prefer experience with SAP and/or Windchill software.

• Must be an excellent listener, paired with strong communication skills. Ability to present ideas clearly and express point of view.

• Shows ability to collaborate with engineering system/program users across an enterprise in order toachieve project goals.

• Able to solve engineering related computer problems when given minimal direction and leadership. Proven ability to learn and adapt.

Competitive Salary - The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
