The Engineering Intern will follow hands-on training using CREO solid modeling software to develop part drawings. They will also update part revisions using document control processes. This position will also assist with other engineering tasks as assigned by the Engineering Manager.

Major Accountability:

  • Completing delegated tasks in a timely manner.
  • Quality of workmanship.
  • Continuously working with other engineers to achieve common goals.
  • Continuously following assigned work schedule.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Creating or updating high volumes of drawings for sheet metal parts.
  • Training to complete processes.
  • Following and completing lists for prioritization.
  • Dimensioning and adding views to flat metal sheet drawings.
  • Following system controls and guidelines for process control and documentation.
Specialized Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
  • General Computer Aided Drafting / Solid Modeling knowledge.
  • Specializing in CREO/PRO-E is preferred, but not required.
  • Heavy computer use of data management systems and controls.
  • Ability to work in an office setting with high use of computers.
