We are looking for top performing Endocrinology Sales Specialists to support the launch of a novel product in the treatment of hypothyroidism.

What will you be doing?
  • The position calls on designated Endocrinologists and other customers as directed.
  • Cultivate strong professional relationships with Endocrinologists; engage healthcare prescribers with formal and informal presentations and convey scientific information fluently, to position the product and services to improve patient care and maximize sales within the assigned territory.
  • Demonstrate passion and compassion for the treatment of patients with the ultimate goal of helping them overcome challenges faced with existing therapies.
  • Establish alignment with Endocrinologists on the value proposition of the product and the appropriate patients who would benefit, to ensure trial and utilization.
  • Demonstrate deep marketplace, therapeutic, product and disease expertise based on thorough understanding of rigorous scientific principles and data, including mechanism of action, indications, efficacy, safety, etc.
  • Use local knowledge and approved tools and resources to assess, develop and maintain advocacy of customers aligned to company, brand and clinical goals.
  • Understand and apply knowledge of health care industry, trends, applicable laws and regulations, market conditions, and the market access environment (including but not limited to pharmacy-economics, and payer/ reimbursement landscape) and analyze these factors in the development of business plans and in daily execution of sales calls within compliance guidelines.
  • Develop strategies and execute tactics consistent with company direction to engage and advance customers along the advocacy continuum, including Endocrinologists and key staff who make or influence prescribing decisions.
  • Demonstrate advanced ability to ask strategic, insightful questions to obtain information on customer needs from all stakeholders in accounts, using the insights to position current promoted brands and collaborate with customers on a customized strategy.
  • Coordinate the delivery of targeted education seminars for healthcare providers.
  • Maintain required activity records and reports.
  • Utilize assigned budget for maximum impact on sales.
  • Participate in relevant trainings, meetings, and conferences.

What do you need for this position?
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of successful provider-facing (field) Pharmaceutical Sales experience preferred
  • 2+ years specific, recent Endocrinology product experience strongly preferred
  • Established strong relationships with Endocrinology providers in designated geography
  • Demonstrated experience and success using strategic planning to grow key accounts in a consultative sales environment
  • Ability to handle large geographies, multiple stakeholders and adjust and flex quickly and seamlessly to address target customers concerns and objections
  • Some overnight travel may be required
  • Experience using CRM
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Must have a dependable automobile with insurance coverage in compliance with company guidelines
