Responsibilities

Responsible for developing and coordinating programs with Emergency Medical Service Providers and Emergency Departments in the northeast Georgia to improve the communication and relationships with Wellstar Hospitals. Responsible for EMS appropriate communication equipment; Responsible for the communication and outreach to first responders and referring hospitals in the Wellstar North Fulton primary and secondary markets. Educates the pre-hospital care provider community to a) keep them informed of the changes in the standards of care they are required to deliver, b) market Wellstar's full range of services to the emergency provider community, including Trauma, Stroke and Cardiac Programs and c) develop a stronger relationship between Wellstar and these providers. Acts as customer service liaison between the Wellstar and Emergency Service Providers with the objective of establishing and strengthening relationships and increasing the number of patients that these services bring to Wellstar Health System
Qualifications

Required Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.Preferred Education: Bachelors degree.Required Minimum License: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Georgia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).Preferred License: Paramedic or EMS LicenseRequired Minimum Certification: BLSRequired Minimum Experience: Approximately two to three years of progressively more responsible related work experience necessary to gain knowledge of EMS regulations, Emergency Services Programs, and quality improvement.Preferred Experience: Previous experience in a marketing or outreach position preferred.Required Minimum Skills: Knowledge of emergency medical services at a level normally acquired through completion of state certification as an EMT-P Instructor Coordinator. Excellent Communication and Project Management Skills
