The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Virginia seeks candidates for a tenure-eligible position within our Academic Electrophysiology group. The position is open rank and can accommodate Assistant, Associate, or Professor who are tenure eligible. Rank and tenure status will be dependent upon qualifications. The incumbent's responsibilities will include inpatient and outpatient clinical services, education, and research. The distribution of the responsibilities will vary based on the interests and training of the candidate.
Candidates must have an MD or equivalent and be sub-specialty board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiac Electrophysiology by appointment start date. Candidates must have training with lead extraction and complex arrhythmia ablations.
