Lasko is currently looking for an EHS Manager to join our team! The EHS Manager will plan, implement, coordinate, and audit safety programs to prevent or correct unsafe working conditions. Manage environmental and sustainability programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Investigate industrial accidents, injuries, and occupational diseases to determine causes and preventive measures




    • Report or review findings from accident investigations, facilities inspections, or environmental testing




    • Maintain and apply knowledge of current policies, regulations, and industrial processes




    • Conduct and prepare monthly/quarterly safety audit reports
    • Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance




    • Conduct or coordinate worker training in areas such as safety standards and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment




    • Review Lasko safety programs to determine their adequacy




    • Review plans and specifications for construction of new machinery or equipment to determine whether all safety requirements have been met




    • Compile, analyze, and interpret statistical data related to occupational illnesses and accidents.




    • Interpret safety regulations for others interested in industrial safety such as safety engineers, labor representatives, and safety inspectors




    • Recommend process and product safety features that will reduce employees' exposure to chemical, physical, and biological work hazards




    • Conduct or direct testing of air quality, noise, temperature, radiation levels, or other industrial hazards to verify compliance with health and safety regulations




    • Assure state and federal government reporting compliance




    • Oversee and verify the installation of appropriate machine guarding and pinch point protection




    • Evaluate adequacy of actions taken to correct health inspection violations




    • Review, revise or create Lasko safety regulations and codes




    • Communicate and comply with state and federal industrial hygiene requirements




    • Review and/or complete required OSHA reports




    • Establish, review and monitor environmental and sustainability programs



    KEY REQUIREMENTS:


    • Bachelor's Degree with 7 - 10 years related experiences
