Description:

The ER Technician is responsible for delivery of patient care. The ER Tech provides patient care in the Emergency Center under the supervision of the RN or physician

Minimum Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or GED from accredited school is required
• Certificate from Emergency Medical Technician Basic (EMT-B) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program required
• Willingness to cross train as Unit Secretary
• Previous experience working as an EMT-B or CNA required. Experience with starting IVs is necessary
• Computer experience

Licensure/Certifications:

• Emergency Medical Technician Basic (EMT-B) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License required
• BLS required
