ECommerce Marketplace Manager
About the Role
The E-Commerce Marketplace Manager will assist in driving aggressive sales growth via online Marketplace channels through assortment, channel and geographic expansion; all while maintaining a uniform position for the Claire's brand image. The Marketplace Manager will work collaboratively and cross-functionally to drive improvement and transform the consumer experience for Claire's while maximizing financial returns and building the channel into a strategic profit center.
• Subject matter champion in all things related to e-commerce marketplace. Provide day-to-day support of e-commerce marketplace channels and help shape the overall strategy on all marketplace platforms.
• Drive and promote a clean marketplace presence with strong price and product presentation.
• Ability to multi-task and coordinate across several core competencies including: marketing strategy, content management, fulfillment and logistics, technical data integration and troubleshooting, merchandising and inventory planning, and financial analysis.
• Oversee sales and marketing activities for ecommerce marketplace channels, manage direct relationships with Marketplace accounts and leverage specialty Marketplace management partners.
• Assist with product launch and assortment expansion to identify opportunities within Marketplace channels.
• Communicate best practices for marketplace fulfillment; identify areas for improvement leading to cost- savings.
• Maximize technical data integration; oversee adherence to marketplace-specific taxonomy and data requirements.
• Strong merchandising and inventory planning skills; possesses an eye for trend and ability to accurately forecast during different demand curves.
• Develop, plan and execute promotional events to drive strong consumer awareness and conversion.
• Complete sales analysis, curate insights, and set into motion action that supports the growth of marketplaces and cross-team decision-making.
• Maximize return on paid advertising and possesses ability to quickly optimize campaigns.
About You
• 5+ years of professional experience working with digital marketplaces, strategy and/or partnerships
• Highly effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Strong working knowledge with web, mobile and social media
• Preferred skills around data driven measurement and/or digital attribution
• Bachelor's degree in related field required
