This position reports to the Logistics Material Leader. This position is responsible for timely and accurate RMFS inventory, production reporting and reconciliation processes, and all Raw Material related SAP and EWM processes and transactions. Incumbent has a detailed understanding of material flow processes and manages accordingly. Coordinate production and materials planning for the facility to achieve optimal customer service while maintaining efficient flow and storage while achieving inventory management objectives

Essential Accountabilities:

  • Lead the management and control of Raw Material in EWM, SAP and WMS management systems.

  • Support CICC Team and operations for Production reconciliation through a working knowledge of PIPE.

  • Be a SME subject matter expert in all systems involved in Raw Materials.

  • Maintaining Raw material receiving/shipping and inventory controls through vast knowledge of WMS, SAP and PIPE supporting the CICC team through problem solving and issue resolution.

  • Support and Backup CICC team with day to day operation LSW checks.

  • Drive supply chain value capture activities across all aspects of Materials Logistics to eliminate waste, improve storage density, and yield cost savings.

  • Maintain strong, safe working conditions and drive a people-based safety culture consistent with plant and staff objectives.

  • Support and implement effective cost management practices and cost improvement programs.

  • Foster an environment conducive to favorable employee relations.

  • Maintain housekeeping standards in conformance to plant and government regulations.

  • Supports the Vendor return claim process in SAP.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

Position typically requires a Bachelor's or relevant scientific discipline and 5 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or other related degree plus 3+ years of related work experience or 5+ years of relevant equivalent experience.

  • Applies advanced Logistics knowledge and skills with understanding of external environment factors that may affect successful mill/logistics operation and results.

  • Possesses an understanding of a Mill Operation and the relationship and integration of Logistics within that Operation.

  • Demonstration of capability to facilitate projects/focus groups in a team environment while providing team leadership.

  • The position requires technical systems expertise to support Distribution and FTS Teams on such systems as SAP, WMS, PIPE, EWM and Excel.
