POSITION PURPOSE:

The Distribution Supervisor will oversee the warehouse workers and ensure that daily shipping goals are being met as well as ensuring a safe work environment.

Experience


* Three or more years of effective/progressive leadership experience in a distribution environment.
* Previous experience with Big Box retailers a plus.

Skills


* Bi-lingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.
* Must possess strong management and leadership skills and demonstrated ability to effectively lead and motivate a diverse group of employees.
* Excellent working knowledge of safety practices and regulations, including OSHA compliance.
* Strong communication skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, be a team player and have the proven ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.

Education


* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field from an accredited college or university is preferred.

* Responsible for ensuring that all shipping goals are met or exceeded daily.

* Other duties as assigned.
* Supervisory Responsibilities:


* This position typically supervises a team of hourly employees.

SCOPE & EXPECATIONS:


* This position may require regularly lifting 50lbs, standing on your feet for extended periods, walking, bending stooping, twisting, etc.
* Travel Requirements:


* Some out of town travel may be required.
* Recruitment process may consist of any combination of phone, video and in person interviews.
* Offers may be contingent upon successful completion of Background Check, Drug Screen, Physical Examination and/or potential Motor Vehicle Check.
