We are looking for a Team Lead, Logistics (40 hours per week) in our Elmwood Park, NJ location.

Schedule: Thursdays-Mondays , 7:00am-330pm

Position Summary

The Logistics Center of Excellence Team Lead will act as a work leader in the Logistics Department to perform and coordinate workflow, tasks and assignments in one or more of the following functional areas: Dispatch, Routing, Printing, Outside Vendor Services, Fleet, STATs and administration

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

• Performs administrative duties as assigned by supervisor
• Responsible for reviewing and assigning work in functional area
• Addresses any customer service related issues in a prompt and respectful way
• Researches, troubleshoots, and follows-up on inquiries and problems in functional area
• Troubleshoots and assists department employees in resolving problems
• Observes and trains employees; Reports observations to the supervisor of functional area
• Thorough knowledge of functional area procedures and operations
• Keeps supervisor of functional area informed as required
• Reviews daily/weekly schedule with supervisor and make schedule adjustments as needed
• Promotes team work, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers
• Embodies department values of self-discipline, adaptability, collaboration and excellence

Minimum Job Requirements

• Associates Degree (preferred)
• 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of office equipment and computer experience required
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Microsoft Office experience
