As the Director of Supply Chain, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our end-to-end supply chain processes to ensure seamless operations and ensure best practices across the supply chain planning operation. You will be responsible for driving efficiency, optimizing processes, and leading supply chain and operational excellence across the entire supply chain network.

Where you come in:

Operational Excellence:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes, including planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution.
  • Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, reduce lead times, and improve overall supply chain performance.
  • Integrate sustainability and other best practices into the various planning and analytical processes

Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and execute the supply chain strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to establish long-term goals and objectives for the supply chain function
  • Institutionalize a balanced scorecard that delivers on supply chain best practices while staying aligned in other areas of the business

Risk Management:
  • Identify potential risks within the supply chain and help develop business continuity plans and strategies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics to proactively address potential challenges.

Technology Integration:
  • Leverage advanced technologies and data analytics to enhance supply chain visibility, balanced scorecards, and planning/forecasting accuracy.
  • Explore and implement emerging technologies that can drive innovation in the medical device supply chain.

Team Development:
  • Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members.

What makes you successful:
  • Proven experience in an Operation's leadership role within the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to medical device supply chains.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing operational excellence initiatives and driving continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across different functions and levels of the organization.

Education and Experience:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of industry experience
  • 9+ years of successful management experience in relevant industry

Travel Required:
  • 15-25%

Flex Workplace: Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
