Description

The Director of Operations - Inside Sales is responsible for accomplishing enterprise wide growth objectives through operational and technology transformation and by gaining a competitive edge in the marketplace by becoming industry leader through automation and efficiencies. The Director requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across the function or segment.

Responsibilities

The Director of Operations - Inside Sales is responsible for setting the strategic direction for distribution as well as the objective & key results. Decisions are typically related to the implementation of new/updated programs or large-scale projects for the function. Support technical/operational procedures and processes, implement strategic plans, drive goals and objectives, and improve performance. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Lead business transformation and growth, develop talent, and lead a fast-paced results-driven operation.
  • Build an organization based on culture and engagement.
  • Work closely with market operations and other sales channels involved in the bid process.
  • Bring forth technology transformation and automation to drive competitive edge in the market place.
  • Work horizontally and cross functionally to drive integration and enterprise value.
  • Meet sales and growth goal through managing KPIs and member life time value and experience.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 or more years of consumer-focused performance-driven leadership experience
  • 5 or more years of management experience leading large teams in a values-based culture
  • Track record of building high-performing teams and achieving goals and success for a high-volume unit
  • Prior experience coordinating sales operations activities with partners/vendors, including systems migrations
  • Demonstrated ability to partner across functions to create win/win strategies is required
  • Open leadership style; actively seeks out and supports collaborative thinking and problem solving
  • Skill in driving results, thinking strategically, while passionately leading sales operations
  • Extremely organized, disciplined, hands-on leader who is not afraid of digging into details when necessary
  • Commitment to recruiting and developing diverse talent to meet the dynamic business requirements of the market
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
  • Ability to travel 20 - 35% of the time, depending on location
Preferred Qualifications
  • Call center leadership experience
  • Experience with the healthcare insurance industry, with sales related experience
Additional Information
  • This position can be performed remotely
  • You must be able to obtain your active Health & Life Insurance Licenses as well as the AHIP certification within the first 90 days of employment
