The director will support the college community by providing vision and leadership in the development and implementation of the college's information technology platforms. This influential position directly impacts planning, implementation, and support of the institution’s major academic and administrative computing activities, voice, and data communications. The director works collaboratively with members of the Cornell community to create a tech environment that is user-focused, flexible, cost-effective, and secure. Qualifications and Education Requirements
A degree in a relevant field, preferably in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or business administration, and at least eight years of progressively responsible experience as a director or assistant director of a complex information systems environment.
Successful candidates will have strategic management experience in information technology in a collaborative customer-service-focused environment. In addition, substantial experience leading major network, systems, and data center technology organizations and projects is required along with a demonstrated ability to develop enterprise-technology architecture and to lead the implementation of major technology projects.
Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirement may be substituted.
Working Location & Conditions
The position works in-person with the option for 1-2 days of remote work per week. Late afternoon, evening, and weekend work hours may be required. All requirements may be subject to change over time, with possible modifications made to reasonably accommodate individuals with a disability.

The hiring pay range for the position is $95,000 - $130,000.
