Position Summary:Reporting to the Associate Dean for Advancement, the Director of Engagement and Events will lead the Mason School of Business's imperative to strategically engage alumni and donors in the life of the School through alumni and donor events, lifelong learning and thought leadership programming, classroom experiences, and corporate relationships. The overarching goal of the position is to develop and facilitate lifelong, strong relationships with alumni and friends of the school to support a robust Advancement Program.
The individual in this role will lead a team of associated engagement staff members execute a date-driven engagement program informed by industry best practices in both event and alumni engagement. The individual will be experienced in event management, knowledgeable of its best practices, and skilled in deploying technology to execute their mission.
The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to collaborate with a diverse community of business school and university partners to deliver high caliber alumni experiences. An overview of duties includes:
