    ABOUT THE JOB

    The Dr. Eugene D. Glyn Manhattan North Counseling Center ("Manhattan North clinic") is an Article 31 OMH certified outpatient mental health clinic. The clinic is located in a racially and culturally diverse community and treatment and services are provided in a culturally affirming manner. The clinic serves individuals of all ages and their families and support system. In addition to the main site, the clinic has one school satellite located at the Equity Project Charter School (TEP).

    The Director has full responsibility for the clinical, fiscal and administrative functions of the clinic and its satellites. The Director is responsible for ensuring program operations are run efficiently to prevent service disruptions, to ensure timely access to care, and to ensure program services and operations are in compliance with regulatory agencies. The Director is responsible for the budget and works closely with the fiscal department to minimize revenue loss and ensure contracted programs are providing services within the scope of the contract. The director provides supervision and training to managerial staff and is responsible for direct supervision of the psychiatric care practitioners and some clinicians. The director works closely with multiple JB departments and external agencies to provide quality services and improve treatment outcomes. The Director is knowledgeable of all regulatory requirements, agency policies and procedures, and clinical standards. The director implements agency or division wide initiatives and participates in leadership meetings and committees.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    The Jewish Board is currently looking for talented workers of all cultures, religions, races, and gender expressions with the following qualifications:

    EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIRED

    • Master's Degree in Social Work and LCSW required.

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/LANGUAGE PREFERENCE

    • Experience acting in senior administrative and leadership roles.
    • Experience working in outpatient mental health clinic preferred.
    • Knowledge of OMH, COA, OMIG, and other regulatory bodies.
    • Excellent engagement and communication skills.
    • Minimum of five (5) years of closely related experience.
    • Spanish language preferred
