The Director of Clinic Development & Integration has direct responsibility for supporting all facets of new dialysis facility openings for the company. The Director will serve in this critical leadership role for monitoring, coordinating and managing the entire life-cycle of the Denovo opening process, from site analysis and selection, design, construction, staff recruiting and hiring, equipment procurement and installation, licensing and certification, clinical readiness, and operations hand-off among cross-functional departments. This role is key for delivering a "white glove" hand-off service to our operations teams and critical to organizational plans for rapid expansion across the country.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.

  • Overall management of Denovo opening process to achieve on-time clinic openings within budget.
  • Partner with the real estate and business development teams to complete the facility site selection, design, and tenant improvement completion.
  • Drive an integrated development process aligned with internal cross-functional teams to ensure clinic success with appropriate integration efforts, strong communication and support from the team.
  • Partner with the RVP, HR, and clinical team to ensure Denovo operational readiness by recruiting, training of personnel and successful completion of initial internal audits.
  • Coordinate with business partners to diagnose and resolve issues to meet Denovo timeline and proper execution.
  • Identify and implement strategies to help improve Denovo speed to market.
  • Actively promote GUEST customer service standards; develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Effectively communicate expectations; accept accountability and hold others accountable for performance.
  • Uphold management goals of corporation by leading staff in team concepts and promoting a team effort.
  • Maintain effective personnel management and employee relations, including evaluating the performance of all personnel; approving and submitting all hours worked and counseling and disciplining employees.
  • Recruit, train, develop, and supervise personnel.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required for the job.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or combination of education and relevant work experience required. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Three (3) plus years of experience in managing all facets of Denovo facility openings, including oversight of site selection and development efforts, clinical readiness initiatives, recruiting, hiring and training of staff, opening procedures and operations hand-off.
  • Previous experience in dialysis highly preferred; other healthcare Denovo facility opening experience will be considered.
  • Previous timeline-driven project management experience required.
  • Background in regulatory compliance in healthcare - dialysis preferred, including an understanding of CMS and State healthcare and licensure regulations.
  • Experience in the functional operations of a dialysis treatment process preferred.
  • Must have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook); proficiency in USRC applications required within 90 days of hire.
