Job Summary:
Ensures effective and efficient operational processes for the regional labor resource pools. This includes communicating, directing, planning, and organizing to facilitate the delivery of high quality health care services, in an ever changing and competitive health care environment. Develops and builds relationships with team members and leadership while creating an environment that leads to a positive patient care experience by providing an open and effective work environment that provides resources and supports team members

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborates with all disciplines and departments and works cooperatively to provide services in an efficient manner within department and between departments.
  • Provides guidance, assistance and direction to improve clinical and organizational outcomes.
  • Promotes teamwork by maintaining positive and productive intra and inter departmental relationships and utilizes effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Promotes exceptional patient care by collaborating with nursing leadership and other members of the health care team to ensure alignment of the distinctive patient experience and provision of quality and safe care.
  • Holds self and staff accountable for achieving clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  • Achieves success of departmental plans based on organizational expectations by assessing and ensuring selection, coaching, development and alignment of the team members work.
  • Leads and encourages the adaptation of change within team and the organization.
  • Promotes exceptional financial performance by ensuring team is operating within the approved fiscal human resource and operating plans; organizational expectations; and regulatory requirements.
  • Practices due diligence and uses resources efficiently. Prepares and monitors departmental budgets and productivity.
  • Overall responsibility for recruitment, retention and termination of regional labor resource pools.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree

EXPERIENCE
  • Seven years' experience, with five years' leadership

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.
