HotFoot Recruiters has partnered with a Semiconductor Manufacturer in need of a Direct Hire Device Engineer in the Chandler, AZ area.

Position: Device Engineer

Schedule: Monday thru Friday, normal business hours

Location: Chandler, AZ (hybrid flexibility)

Job Responsibilities

  • Keep parametric test systems operational through in-line and offline electrical characterization, reviewing test structure designs and parametric trends, identifying systemic process issues, and communicating them to the fab process engineers.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing Operations, Yield Enhancement, Foundry Support, and Process Development teams to build new test capabilities, while improving existing test procedures and methods.
  • Responsible for CMOS, bipolar, and high-voltage LDMOS device parametric test development and maintenance, using a variety of platforms.
  • Interaction with wafer fabs and business units to resolve device and measurement issues.
  • Encounter a broad array of VLSI devices including NVM memory, EEPROM, Flash, SRAM, MIM, low-voltage devices (1.2V), high-voltage discrete devices (up to 1000V) and manage the extraction of various parameters to ensure manufacturing robustness, product quality and production yield.

Job Requirements
  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or similar experience.
  • 5-10 years of parametric test experience, including wafer-acceptance test (WAT, e-test) in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of CMOS process flows and device integration.
  • Knowledge of MOS and BJT (bipolar) device characterization, modeling, and parameter extraction.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages for automation.
  • Hands-on experience in the operation of a semiconductor parameter analyzer for device debug.
  • Hands-on experience in the operation of bench test instruments (SMUs, DMMs, capacitance meter, pulse generator, oscilloscope).
  • Experience with high-volume parametric ATE also preferred.
