Design Systems Lead - Data Ventures

We are building from the ground up and our Design System drives our experience; we want a Portfolio Design Lead to be grow the foundation we build upon. The disruptive data software we design reaches millions of customers, suppliers, and associates providing us a unique user ecosystem. As a Design Lead, you will lead design for a commercial portfolio of custom experiences designed for the collection, exploration, and storytelling of data. We design through deep, systematic thought based on fact, finding harmony between form and function. We design and research rapidly in sprint, but also intentionally with a systems thinking approach. To support this, you'll employ ideative, creative, and systems practices to ensure commercial grade experiences and parity across complimentary products. You'll use your deep knowledge of the design and product process, in collaboration with designers, engineers, and product team members, to discover and scale solutions vetted with real data. We'll provide opportunity to...

• Scale and drive the design vision & system for a commercial portfolio

•Design user experience frameworks, process flows, site maps, wireframes, and prototypes to meet our goals while balancing resources, constraints, requirements and complexity.

•Use your knowledge of the Design Thinking process to lead partner teams, facilitate conversations, determine methodologies, create concepts, run design sprints, and build rapid prototypes to use the collective creativity.

•Set and run user experience design consistency in collaboration with Engineering Architects by governing and growing the codebase of our design system

Qualifications

•Degree in HCI, Information Architecture, Digital Design, or similar and 5 or more years of experience in product design.

• A portfolio of elegant design solutions.

The annual salary range for this position is $144,000.00-$216,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

- Stock equity incentives

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 4 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area. Option 2: 6 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
