The Database Developer III is a self-sufficient key member of the Enterprise Data team that ensures the Bank's data and reporting infrastructure supports the business and technology strategic direction and tactical data needs.

Accountabilities:

• Development, deployment and implementation of the Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence (BI) and Information Governance Technology Stack.
• Drive the Bank's Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence and application data models.
• Mentor staff and ensure team deliverables are achieved within required schedule and quality standards.
• Provide tactical support for the Bank's Information Governance metadata and control framework.
• Provide thought leadership around implementation and support for the Bank's view-driven data delivery mechanisms.
• Review proposed and implemented data solutions and designs to ensure alignment with the data architecture and applicable standards.
• Collaborate with development teams, architects, management, and business stakeholders to ensure the Data Warehouse architecture is aligned with business requirements and IT standards.
• Create and tune SSIS packages, stored procedures, SQL performance and troubleshooting to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Develop, manage and apply data architecture standards and policies guiding the design, development and implementation.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years' experience in SQL Server database administration and SQL development.
• 5+ years' experience in 3 or more of the following: Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Studio, Microsoft SSIS, Microsoft Reporting Services, Microsoft SSRS and TFS/Azure Dev Ops.
• 5+ years' experience in integration and deployment across multiple environments.
• Knowledge of versioning tools such as GitLab.
• Proven ability to design solutions that are scalable and high performance to business continuity requirements.
• Working knowledge of Data Governance and/or Information Governance principals in a financial environment, GSE and/or similar highly-regulated environment.
• Working knowledge of metadata repositories and implementation.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Database Administration.
• Working knowledge of Qlik Sense is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience.
